Liril Falls

Liril Falls, also known as Vattakanal Water falls, is one of Kodaikanal’s most famous waterfalls. It became popularly known as Liril Falls after a classic Liril soap advertisement was filmed here in the 1980s.

• Rocks can be slippery, especially during the rainy season.

• Visit in the morning for fewer crowds and better photography.
• Avoid entering the water during periods of heavy rainfall due to strong currents.
