Coaker’s Walk

Constructed in 1872 by Lieutenant Coaker, this nearly one-kilometer paved walkway runs along the steep edge of the southern slopes, offering spectacular panoramic vistas of the surrounding plains and valleys.

The experience here depends heavily on the weather—on a clear day, you can spot distant landmarks like Madurai and the Dolphin’s Nose, while a misty morning creates the surreal feeling of walking directly through the clouds.
