The Kodaikanal Lake

The Kurinji Andavar Temple is one of Kodaikanal’s most iconic landmarks, dedicated to Lord Murugan, the Tamil god of youth and mountains. located in Kodaikanal’s hill country at 113, Kurinji Andavar Temple Road, Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu, is one of the most famous temples in Kodaikanal, who is worshipped here as Kurinji Andavar (“God of the Hills”). It is a popular pilgrimage site as well as a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Palani Hills and the Vaigai Dam.
